As the son of respected Sydney auctioneer Brian Cannan, he grew up immersed in the energy, discipline and theatre of the auction floor. Before commencing his own career, Lucas had already experienced hundreds of auctions across Sydney, developing an early understanding of buyer psychology, crowd control and the critical role an auctioneer plays in maximising competition. Today, Lucas is not only a sought-after auctioneer but also one of NSW’s most selected real estate trainers, working with high-performing agents and leading offices across the state. He trains the best of the best in negotiation, auction strategy and performance under pressure — insights he applies directly when he steps behind the podium.
